Pengaruh Ice Breaking Berbasis Gerak Lagu Terhadap Minat Belajar Anak Usia Dini

This study aims to examine the effect of movement- and song-based ice breaking on early childhood learning interest. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population consisted of all students at TK Hidayaturrahman, Leles District, Garut Regency, totaling 54 children, with a sample of 14 children from Group B1 selected using saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through validity and reliability tests, normality and linearity tests, and simple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The results showed that the implementation of movement- and song-based ice breaking was categorized as high, with a mean score of 43.14, while children's learning interest was in the moderate category, with a mean score of 39.21. The regression analysis indicated a significant effect of ice breaking on learning interest with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). However, the relationship was negative, with a regression coefficient of -0.20 and a correlation coefficient of -0.999. This finding suggests that excessive or improperly managed ice breaking activities may reduce children's learning interest. Therefore, the use of ice breaking should be carefully managed to optimally support the learning process.
