Evaluasi dan Asesmen Perkembangan Anak dalam Konteks Pendidikan Islam
Abstract
This study examines the evaluation of early childhood development within the context of Islamic education using a qualitative method and a literature review approach. The evaluation focuses on cognitive, socio-emotional, moral, and spiritual aspects through authentic observation, creative media, portfolios, and assessment tools such as rubrics and rating sheets. The findings indicate that effective assessment is strongly influenced by teacher competence, availability of resources, child diversity, and institutional support. Evaluation follows a structured sequence stimulus, child response, and reinforcement of Islamic values to ensure that the learning process is meaningful and developmentally appropriate. Overall, holistic assessment plays a crucial role in optimizing children’s growth in accordance with the principles of Islamic education.
